Open your first project
Add a project folder and begin your first AI coding chat.
Once at least one provider model is enabled, you can add a local folder to Dream.
From the getting-started screen, select Open Folder and choose the project directory you want Dream to use.
Dream starts with your default model. Use the model selector in the chat composer to choose any other enabled provider and model.
Keep Standard permissions for routine work, or deliberately select Full access when the task requires broader access.
Describe the outcome you want. Dream keeps the conversation and the project's tools together in the same workspace.
Return to a project#
Open projects remain available as tabs. If you close one, use Recently closed on the getting-started screen to find and restore it. Dream restores project context such as chats and open tools when possible.
Start another chat#
Use New chat to begin a separate conversation for the same project. Enable multi-chat when you want to view and work with multiple conversations side by side.
